Hi! I'm Chris, and I'm a Rhode Island Wedding Photographer
Are you looking for a fun wedding photographer who knows how capture all the little moments? Do you love candid photos? Want a photographer who takes the time to listen to you and provides a stress-free experience? Great. I'm your wedding photographer. Let me tell you why...
I understand that your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life and I strive to make the photography experience as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. From our first consultation through all of our pre-wedding meetings and right through your wedding day, I will be here to answer all of your questions and guide you through the process. You shouldn't have to worry about anything. Just be the beautiful couple that you are and let me handle the rest.
Rhode Island and Massachusetts have been my life. Born in RI and currently living just outside of Providence, I know this area well. You want a wedding photographer that is familiar with all our beautiful states have to offer. Whether it is a great location for some wedding photos on the beach or portraits in the downtown area of Providence, I'm here to make your wishes come true.
Your wedding day will be an amazingly awesome day. Let me capture it so that you can cherish those moments forever!

All the fine details
I know that you've spent countless hours thinking about the smallest details of your wedding. The texture of the fabrics. Little napkins with your initials on them. Your favorite flowers in just the right arrangement. These things are important to you. They are also important to me. I will make sure that I capture all of these precious details for a lifetime of memories.

A decade of skill
I have been photographing weddings for nearly a decade now. It is not an easy thing to do. You want someone who not only has the right cameras and the right lenses, but also has the knowledge and skill to use them appropriately. I'm comfortable with both natural light and flash-lit photography.

Candid. Posed. All of it.
I love candid photography. I prefer a photo-journalistic approach to weddings. That's truly where you capture people and memories as they happen. Of course, almost everyone wants the traditional posed formals and I am happy to do them. I excel at photographing the unexpected and all the little things that happen throughout the day.
What's Included in my Wedding Photography Packages?

In-Person consult
I will be available to meet with you to discuss all of the details of your wedding (even before you book me) and will meet as-needed to finalize the details of your wedding day.
Of course, if you want to meet virtually, we can do that as well.

Engagement session
All wedding packages include a complimentary engagement session at no additional cost. This is our chance to really get to know each other and to create some fantastic images to share your good news with the world!
Engagement sessions can also be booked separately.

Me. You get me.
You may be shocked to know that some wedding photographers simply outsource their photography sessions. I do not do this.
You meet with me. You talk with me. We plan this together. On your wedding day, I will be the person who is there and photographing you.

Affordable Wedding Photography
As a professional wedding photographer, I understand that weddings can be expensive and that photography is a significant part of the budget. However, it's important to remember that the photographs we take will be treasured for a lifetime and will serve as a reminder of the love shared on your wedding day.
I believe that every couple should have access to beautiful, high-quality wedding photography, regardless of their budget. That's why I offer a range of affordable packages that can be customized to suit your specific needs and budget. I understand that every couple has different needs and budgets, and I am dedicated to working with you to find an arrangement that works for everyone. My goal is to provide you with a personalized and stress-free experience, and so if there is anything I can do to help, be sure to let me know!
Coverage
Packages availableSome weddings are short and sweet. Others are all-day events. There truly is no "one-size-fits-all" here. I've created a number of packages that cover the most common wedding day coverage scenarios. The most affordable package includes 6 hours of wedding day coverage. The higher packages include additional hours, locations, etc.
If you don't feel that any of my packages meet your needs (for example, you need hourly coverage for a small ceremony only) send a message and let me know!
Wedding Photography FAQ
What is your photography style?
Like many wedding photographers, I'm happy to do all the standard poses that couples have come to expect from weddings.
My favorite wedding photos are the candid photos, as those are the pictures that truly capture the real emotion of the day. Photojournalistic and documentary styles are probably the words that best describe my wedding photography.
Do you shoot digital or film?
I use the latest digital full-frame cameras from Canon. While there are still some hybrid photographers who will use both digital and film, digital is the far more practical choice.
How many photos will I receive?
This varies depending on the number of hours that are booked for your wedding and whether or not there are one or two photographers present.
In general, a good rule-of-thumb is that you should receive between 50 to 100 photos for every hour of coverage.
Can I print my Wedding Photos?
Absolutely. You will receive a print release that will allow you to print and share your wedding photos for your own person, non-commercial use, and at no additional cost.
If you choose to have me fulfil some or all of the printing at a high-quality print lab, that can be arranged as well.
Several of my wedding photography collections include print credits that you can use in our professional lab.
Do I get full sized photos?
You will receive the full, high-resolution digital photos. The specific resolution will depend on which camera I use and how much cropping is done when editing.
Do you edit the photos?
Yes. I personally edit every photo that you will receive. It is very time-consuming to do it right, but it really is the difference between a good photo and a great photo.
Can you smooth my skin or take wrinkles out of clothing?
For wedding portraits, I always do some very subtle skin cleanup, eye brightening, and whatever else I think the photo needs to make it shine. I will also edit out small stains from clothing. Beyond that, it can be done, but can be very time-consuming and may require additional hourly fees if this is something you want.
Are you a destination wedding photographer?
This depends on the destination. I will consider destination weddings in the US, and these are priced on a case-by-case basis.
At the moment, I do not offer destination weddings for foreign locations, but if you have something specific in mind, message me and we can have a chat about the details.
Will you travel?
To a limited degree. I live in Rhode Island and will photograph anywhere in Rhode Island and in most of Massachusetts and parts of Connecticut. In general, I like to stay within 50 miles of home (North Providence).
Is a second photographer an option?
Yes. If a second photographer is wanted (or needed), I have several photographers that I frequently have worked with. I am always the primary photographer, but they help me to get additional angles and to capture moments that I cannot physically be there for (hard to be in two places at the same time).
Are you unsure if you need a second photographer? Check out the blog to read a great article on this subject.
How long does it take to receive my wedding photos?
I will generally deliver a sneak peek within a week or so of the wedding. I feel this is important as the excitement is still there and you want to share some beautiful wedding photos on social media as soon as possible!
The time it takes to deliver the rest of the photos will vary based on the number of hours of coverage and whether you had one or two photographers. During the busy wedding season, this can be up to 8-12 weeks.
Do you photograph engagement sessions?
Yes. I include an engagement session with all of my wedding photography packages. It's a great way to get to know a couple and for me to find the best way of photographing you (every couple is different).
How to I book you as my wedding photographer?
Use the contact form on my website and be sure to let me know the exact date of your wedding. If it is available, we will find a time to have a phone call or to meet in-person to go over the details.

RI Wedding Photography and MA Wedding Photography
As I had said earlier, I am a Rhode Island Wedding Photographer, being living just outside of Providence. I grew up in Woonsocket and have lived in RI all of my life. I am also a Massachusetts Wedding Photographer and would be happy to travel into MA to photograph your wedding. I've photographed weddings in Boston, way out west in Brimfield, and all the way to the tip of Cape Cod in Truro and Provincetown.
